How the corpus and exit split are estimated

The projection adds each beginning-of-month contribution before applying the monthly-equivalent assumed investment return. Contributions increase only after each completed 12-month block. The retirement corpus is then split using the entered annuity allocation.

Important limitations

  • The exit split is based on the cited current PFRDA All Citizen Model normal-exit illustration of up to 80% lump sum and at least 20% annuity.
  • Actual exit options depend on subscriber category, corpus, vesting period, and the rules applicable at exit.
  • NPS is market-linked; investment returns are not guaranteed.
  • Small-corpus or full-withdrawal exceptions may exist; this calculator does not decide whether an exception applies.
  • The monthly annuity is only an estimate from the entered rate. Tax treatment and legal exit eligibility are outside scope.
